Refund Policy

                    Hey, welcome to Botchops — precision CNC parts built for real projects. We cut, finish, and inspect every order like it’s going on our own bench. Returns eat machine time, material, and shipping — so we keep them rare, fair, and 100% proof-based.Our rule: No photos or video = no refund. Period.We’re not doubting you — we just need to see it to fix it.

When Refunds Are PossibleYou have 7 days from delivery to request a refund — only for these issues, and only with clear visual proof:

No visual proof = no refund. We can’t approve claims we can’t see. Think of it like submitting a print — details are everything.

How to Request a Refund (4 Simple Steps)

 

1. Email support@botchops.com within 7 days of delivery

 

2. Include:

Order number

Clear description of the issue

High-quality photos (or <30-sec video) showing the problem

 

3. We review fast (usually same day) and reply with:

Approval + prepaid return label (if we’re at fault)

Or a polite decline with explanation

 

4. If approved:

Return within 7 days

Full refund issued within 5 business days of receipt

 

Do NOT ship anything back without our approval. Unauthorized returns will be refused or returned at your expense.

What’s Not Eligible for Refund

 

Let’s be upfront — these don’t qualify (no exceptions):

 

You ordered the wrong size, thread, material, or spec

→ We build exactly to your order. Double-check before submitting.

 

“Changed my mind” or “project changed”

→ Custom parts aren’t returnable like T-shirts.

 

Used, installed, drilled, tapped, or modified parts

→ Once it’s in your build, it’s yours.

 

Normal tool marks or light machining lines

→ CNC isn’t mirror-polished. Minor marks are industry standard.

 

Final Sale, clearance, or prototype runs

→ Sold as-is, clearly marked at checkout.

 

Missing photos or video proof

→ We can’t verify without evidence.

 

Ineligible returns? We’ll ship the part back (you pay shipping) or dispose if you decline.

Exchange Option (The Practical Fix)

 

Not thrilled but don’t want cash back?

 

-We’ll remake the part at 50% off (you cover material + shipping)

 

-One-time courtesy per order

 

-Still requires photos + pre-approval
